Learn how to JAM with other musicians, and improv based on traditional Indian ragas, rhythms and world fusion.
WHO: For all musicians wishing to learn more about the essenc of North Indian Classical music. This workshop is especially desinged for students of tabla who wish to gain more experience and understanding in the artform of tabla accompaniment. You will have the special opportunity to be learning from one of India’s finest sitar player’s. Few students of tabla ever have the chance to play with such a maestro! Because of Roshan’s gift in teaching all sides of this music, any instrumentalist of any level is welcome. You will not leave this workshop without deepening your understanding of improvisation, raga, tala, and fusion of east and west. All levels welcome.
